Ironically, most Ukraine universities are much older than post-soviet sovereign Ukraine. This is because these universities have a long history that predates present day Ukraine.

Ukrainian government, through its Ministry of Education and Sciences, closely monitors and regulates the educational standards in all Ukraine universities, to be at par with European and global standards.

The Ministry, through standby commissions, periodically conducts checks to ensure that these benchmarks are not violated. Whenever necessary, appropriate measures are not spared, to enforce adherence to set standards.

Universities in Ukraine are construed on the philosophy of learning, and not just study. This is achieved through balancing of the learning process with adequate practicals and real life tasks to cement the acquired knowledge.

There are over 200 Ukraine universities across the different regions of Ukraine, although not all of them are licensed to teach international students.

Ukraine universities, offer a wide array of courses, ranging from engineering, medical and health sciences, economics and management, aeronautics, marines, and a host of other courses too numerous to be listed here.

Regardless of your course of interest, you are likely to find it in one of the numerous Ukraine universities.

In recent years, Ukraine universities gradually developed to an industry. This is due to an increased influx by international students, in response to the higher demand for affordable university education, while not sacrificing quality.

The population of the foreign students community is in excess of 20,000, and growing.

Three main factors are responsible for this growth namely: cost advantage, quality education and social stability. These are the main factors that most parents consider when sending their kids to study abroad, and are all present in Ukraine.

Many universities are introducing the use of English as a teaching language, resulting to a growing number of courses taught in English. See the courses & tuition page for all available courses, their tuition & admission requirements
